After the domination of the BR01 from the AF Racing team this morning, the second free practice session of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet, penultimate round of the European Le Mans Series 2015, saw the Oreca 05 of Thiriet by TDS Racing placed at the forefront. The LM P2 prototype, entrusted this weekend to Pierre Thiriet, Tristan Gommendy and Ludovic Badey, set the best time in 1'47"546 and is more than three tenths ahead of Krohn Racing's Ligier JS P2 on which we find Olivier Pla , associated with Niclas Jonsson and Tracy Krohn. The JOTA Sport Gibson 015S from Dolan – Albuquerque – Tincknell completes the trifecta of the session.
In LM P3, Team LNT achieves another double with the #2 Ginetta – Nissan of Paletou – Simpson which is ahead of the #3 of Hoy – Roberston. The P3 prototypes were beaten for this session by the two best cars entered in GTE, namely the Ferrari 458 Italia n°56 of AT Racing of Talkanitsa – Talkanitsa Jr – Pier Guidi and n°55 of AF Corse of Cameron – Grffin – Scott.
In GTC, AF Corse also stood out with the best time in the category set by the No. 458 Ferrari 63 Italia of Melnikov – Roda – Cioci.
