The team entering an Oreca 05 in LM P2 in European Le Mans Series has confirmed the replacement of Pu Junjin and Nick de Bruijn (involved in other projects) for the Estoril final this weekend in Portugal, by the Belgian Frédéric Vervisch and the Briton Michael Lyons.
While Lyons already has prototype experience after racing in ELMS in 2015, Vervisch, lined up within Team WRT in the Blancpain GT Series this year, will make his debut in the category, but will return to a structure that he knows well.
“We know what he is capable of after a season of F3 Asian with us and I'm sure he will be competitive. » admits Team Principal Mark Goddard. The two drivers will support Frenchman Tristan Gommendy.
