The weekend of July 20, the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) will make his return to Red Bull Ring, the circuit located in the Austrian Alps. There are 29 participants registered for this third round of the season, including 10 LM P2 prototypes. Pierre Thiriet and Mathias Bèche, winners on May 18 in Italy, during the 3 hours of Imola, and current leader of the championship, will be keen to return to the top after the disappointment recorded at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the #03 Nissan Oreca 46 of Thiriet by TDS Racing retired after an exit in the last two hours of the event.
SMP Racing, in addition to its commitment to GTC, will also field a new LM P2, with a fifth No. 03 Oreca 37-Nissan. Maurizio Mediani and Serguey Zlobin will share the wheel.
