A few hours before the start of the 2016 European season Le Mans Series at Silverstone, the Murphy Prototypes team has confirmed the identity of the drivers who will compete on the LM P2 and LM P3 scene. In the premier category, the Irishman Damien Faulkner will be associated with his compatriot Seán Doyle and the Englishman Shaun Balfe in the Oreca 03R powered by a Nissan engine.
In LM P3, the Ginetta, the only non-Ligier prototype in the first round of the season, and which will subsequently be replaced by an Ave-Riley AR-2, will be entrusted to Tony Ave (head of Ave Motorsport) Michael Cullen and Doug Peterson.
