Cetilar Villorba Corse has confirmed that it will carry out a test session with its Dallara P217 this Wednesday on the Paul-Ricard circuit in Le Castellet (Var). The Italian structure has invited Felipe Nasr and the Italian Giuseppe Cipriani currently engaged in World Series Formula V8 3.5 to continue its winter program with the possible objective of entering a second LMP2 in 2018.
“We had already collaborated with Giuseppe Cipriani during his time in GT with Ferrari in 2015 and we noted his competitive spirit and his desire to improve his performances. On the other hand, this will be our first collaboration with Felipe Nasr and we are honored to be able to work with such a pilot,” commented Team Principal Raimondo Amadio.
Felipe Nasr has already been confirmed for the full IMSA season next year within Action Express Racing which will enter two Cadillac DPi-VRs based on the Dallara P217.
