The last minute change in the crew of the No. 24 Algarve Pro Racing worked in favor of Sophia Floersch. While the Mexican Diego Menchaca was expected in Portimão (October 22 to 24) to support Ferdinand Habsburg and Richard Bradley, it is ultimately the German who will travel to Portugal at the end of the month for the final of the 2021 season of the 'ELMS.
« I am currently seeing what is the best option for me in 2022, so it is important to accumulate as much driving time as possible, and racing with Algarve Pro Racing at the 4 Hours of Portimão is the right choice, admits Sophia Floersch. I am in Endurance for a few seasons now, it will be interesting to see where I stand compared to Ferdinand (Habsburg) and Richard (Bradley), in a very high plateau."
To prepare for the 4 Hours of Portimão, the 21-year-old driver was treated to two days of testing near Estoril on October 12 and 13.
