The first qualifying session of the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup, contested on the Imola track in Italy, was dominated by the BMS Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 Team Italia de Lucchini – Cressoni, thanks to a best lap achieved in 1'42″905.
La Porsche 911 GT3 R du Mentos Racing de Bachler – Perfetti partira également en première ligne alors que la seconde ligne sera partagée entre l’Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3 from TF Sport and the McLaren 650S GT3 from the FFF Racing Team by ACM.
The CMR with Sport Garage Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 entrusted to the duo Matthieu Vaxivière and Nicolas Misslin will start in 6th position.
