The Oreca 07 n°28 – IDEC Sport Racing of Gabriel Aubry – Paul-Loup Chatin – Memo Rojas dominated the second free practice session on the Portimão track in Portugal for the European final Le Mans Series 2018.
The French prototype completed its best lap in 1'33″097 and is 0″227 ahead of the No. 07 Oreca 21 – DragonSpeed of Stone – Hedman – Hanley. The 100% Oreca leading trio is completed by the No. 26 – G-Drive Racing of Pizzitola – Vergne – Rusinov, half a second behind.
The top 5 is completed by the Ligier JS P217 n°22 – United Autosports de Albuquerque – Hanson and n°23 – Panis Barthez Compétition de Stevens – Canal – Buret.
Le Muller Racing a signé le chrono référence en LM P3 avec la Norma M30 n°19 de Légeret – Benham – Droux, alors que Porsche et Proton Competition reste en pointe en GTE avec la 911 RSR n°88 de Cairoli – Roda – Roda.
Qualifying will begin at 15:25 p.m. French time.
