M. Racing – YMR’s Norma rolls over

The afternoon practice session in ELMS in Monza (Italy) ended with an accident involving Gwenaël Delomier who rolled over on the M. Racing – YMR Norma M230. Although the Frenchman appears unhurt, the LMP3 suffered heavy damage and it is not expected to return to the track this week given the difficulties in obtaining spare parts.

 

The Graff Racing Oreca 07s achieved the best provisional times. Richard Bradley set the benchmark with a lap of the Italian circuit in 1'36''944, ahead of Enzo Guibbert's No. 6 sister car by 39 tenths. The leading trio is completed by the Oreca 07 Dragonspeed of Ben Hanley, author of the best time of the morning. Patrice Lafargue placed the first Ligier JS P217, that of Idec Sport Racing, in 4th place.

The times have not really changed in the LMP3 category. Alexander Talkanitsa maintains the best time with his time of 1'45''813 achieved this morning in the n°3 AT Racing Ligier JS P9. This afternoon, Alexandre Cougnaud was the fastest in the M. Racing – YMR Ligier.

In GTE, Salih Yoluc maintains the best time with theAston Martin TF Sport Vantage. Matt Graffin was the fastest of the afternoon at the wheel of the Ferrari 488 of Spirit of Race.
