Scheduled for 14:00 p.m. French time, the start of the 4H of Portimão was postponed by half an hour after a long interruption of the Michelin race Le Mans Cup. The latter was thus neutralized for more than an hour by a red flag following a spectacular accident by Jerome de Sadeleer (MV2S Forestier Racing) on the start-finish straight. The finale of the 2022 seasonELMS therefore began at 14:30 p.m. French time (13:30 p.m. in Portimão).

“The MV2S Forestier Racing driver is now at the Medical Center and is conscious,” announced the Michelin Le Mans Cup on its Twitter account.
The race is red-flagged after a big crash from Jérôme de Sadeleer on the restart.
