It is on the Paul-Ricard circuit, in the Var, that the third round of the Ligier European Series is being held this week. And if the weather could invite itself to the party, it was on a dry track that the qualifications took place.

No surprises on the menu, HP Racing by Monza and Natan Bihel (M Racing) took the two pole positions, respectively in JS P4 and JS2 R.

At the wheel of the No. 4 JS P23, Jacopo Facioni was the fastest in the first session (which determines the starting grid for the first race) in 2'03"887, before being imitated by his sidekick Alessandro Cicognani in the second in 2'04"140.

In JS2 R, Bihel did not go into detail. Credited with a 2'07"165 then a 2'07"067, he relegated the Ligier fielded by Orhès Racing for Olivier Pernaut-Mathieu Martins to 1"193 then to 0"386.

The start of the first race will be given today at 10:50 a.m., that of the second at 14:50 p.m.
