At the wheel of the No. 30 DKR Engineering Norma M3 that he shares with Laurents Hörr, François Kirmann set the best time in qualifying for the first round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, on the Paul-Ricard circuit.

Author of a lap in 1'51"917, the Frenchman was 0"895 ahead of the No. 39 of Graff entrusted to Adrien Chila-Nicolas Schatz and the No. 25 fielded by Lanan Racing for Michael Benham-Duncan Tappy.

Charlie Martin did not miss his debut in LM P3, the Briton having lifted his #30 M11 operated by Racing Experience to fifth place, 1”250 from the reference mark.

The start of the race will be given this afternoon at 16 p.m.
