Interspersed with several off-piste events, the opening round of the 2021 Michelin season Le Mans Cup saw the #15 RLR MSport Ligier win. Wearing the No. 15 and led by Tomy Foster and Michael Benham, the latter passed under the checkerboard with a lead of 1”3 over another JS P320, the No. 71 fielded by Team Virage for Garett Grist and Rob Hodes.
The podium is completed by the No. 320 United Autosports JS P22 at the wheel of which we find Scottt Andrewws and Gerald Kraut, who precede the sister car, the No. 23 of Wayne Boyd-John Schauerman. The top five is completed by the No. 69 Cool Racing mount of Matt Bell-Maurice Smith.
En GT3, la victoire revient à un Français, Julien Andlauer, qui partage le volant de la Porsche 911 GT3 R n°2 de TFT avec Nicolas Leutwiler. Les deux acolytes ont devancé deux Ferrari 488 GT Evo, the #8 of Paolo Ruberti-Rino Mastronardi (Iron Lynx) and the #51 of Matteo Cressoni-Ken Abe.
