2017 Italian Grand Prix

Ocon on Canal+: “A hell of a day. It's really great, I'm also starting from the interior side. We knew we had an opportunity to play with the conditions and it worked. I was a little tight in Q2 and I had lost 3 or 4 tenths. The car was magnificent. This will have to be translated tomorrow into points. I hope to stay 3rd! The stewards were right to suspend qualifying because it was very dangerous on the straights. I'm going to work to get a podium, I've wanted it for a long time. »
Hamilton: “We are on Ferrari land but this crowd is magnificent. We'll wait to see the weather tomorrow, but it should be much better today. The Red Bulls are in the game and we will have to be wary of them. I don't know where the Ferraris ended up. »
Ricciardo: “I was in great difficulty during the first two qualifying sessions, but I was able to progress in Q3. »
Verstappen: “It was difficult qualifying. My car was sliding a lot and it was difficult to get the tires up to temperature. It didn't work well enough. »
Hamilton beats Schumacher's record by becoming the only driver with 69 poles.
Hamilton won his 69th pole in F1 by setting the best time on the finish line with a time of 1'34"660. The Mercedes driver is ahead of the Red Bulls of Verstappen and Ricciardo but the RB13s will have to start from the back of the grid due to penalties. Stroll will complete the first row ahead of Ocon and Bottas. Räikkönen and Vettel are only on the 3rd row, preceding Massa and Vandoorne.
Stroll has just taken 3rd place ahead of Ocon. The Red Bulls are at the forefront with Verstappen ahead of Ricciardo.
The checkered flag is presented to the drivers.
Ocon took 3rd place ahead of Verstappen who is improving. The Red Bull driver will, however, be forced to start from the back of the grid.
With one minute left in Q3, Ocon is on the verge of securing a front row. The Force India driver is ahead in the first sector.
Verstappen narrowly recovered his Red Bull at the exit of the Parabolic. The Dutchman occupies 3rd place.
Mercedes recalls Hamilton to the pits. The Briton's time seems untouchable now.
Hamilton took the best time with a lap completed in 1'34"6. The Ferraris are in difficulty with Vettel 8th and Räikkönen 10th behind Vandoorne. The forecast calls for more rain.
Ocon fell to 5th place behind the Red Bulls and the Mercedes. The Force India driver moved up to 4th place with a tenth lead over Bottas.
Bottas takes 2nd place just over a tenth behind Verstappen. Hamilton took provisional pole before being beaten by Ricciardo. The Mercedes driver remains on provisional pole.
Ocon takes 2nd place from Ricciardo, coming back to 2 tenths behind Verstappen.
Ricciardo took 2nd fastest time, 3 tenths behind Verstappen. Ocon is virtually on pole with the Red Bull drivers' penalties.
Verstappen is in first place ahead of Ocon, Räikkönen and the Williams of Stroll and Massa. Vandoorne completes the list of classifieds.
Vettel also came to the pits to put on wet tires:
