ELMS – Victory for Greaves Motorsport at Silverstone

The 4 Hours of Silverstone, first event of the season ELMS, offered a splendid fight for victory whose outcome did not go to the advantage of Thiriet by TDS Racing. While Tristan Gommendy was doing his best to maintain first place against Jon Lancaster in the final minutes of the event, the Oreca 05 was caught by the Briton's Gibson 015S, an incident placed under investigation for a time.

Jon Lancaster, the poleman of the race competing with Bjorn Wirdheim and Gary Hirsch, nevertheless shone in the race, notably delivering a magnificent duel against Harry Tincknell at the wheel of the Jota Sport Gibson 015S. Greaves Motorsport thus won ahead of Jota Sport and Thiriet by TDS Racing winner in 2014.

Le Gulf Racing s’impose en GTE avec la Porsche de Wainwright-Carroll-Keen après s’être emparé de la tête de la catégorie dès le début d’épreuve. TDS Racing will console itself with the GTC victory of Perera-Lunardi-Dermont.
