- Two French people monopolize the podium of Pikes Peak for the 101st edition of the most legendary of hill racing in the world ! Aboard his 1400 horsepower Ford SuperVan, Romain Dumas set a fantastic time of 8'47″682, and placed himself in 2nd place.
- The record holder over the 19,9 kilometer course came within 7 seconds of victory, won by Robin Shute aboard his Wolf TSC‑FS. The Briton, winner in 2022, retains his crown.
- For his first participation in Pikes Peak, Alpine ranks on the third step of the podium with his A110 Pikes Peak. Raphaël Astier set a time of 9'17″412 and ranked 2nd in the Open category. The Ardéchois beats his own personal best, which he achieved in 2019 in the Time Attack 1 category (9'23'721). In the French clan, the bet was successful with a time beyond expectations.
- Philippe Sinault: “Our simulation gave us a time of 9'17″7! Raphaël pulled away in the 3rd sector even though it is a portion he knows less well. It's great, he did the right thing. Emotions are strong, you just have to see the faces of the team members. This is the culmination of 6 months of work on this car. That's why we do this sport, for these emotions. It was a 9 minute wait for an explosion to arrive. It's great, we must not forget that we are the little thumbs in this category. »
